Erin Byrum serves as Assistant Vice President, Wealth Advisor for Truxton Wealth. She assists in monitoring clients’ investment strategies, trust and estate administration, tax, estate, and retirement planning, and coordinating efforts of other professional advisors both internal and external to Truxton.
Before joining Truxton in 2025, Ms. Byrum operated her own estate planning practice, helping individuals and families structure their assets and protect their legacies. She previously worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she served as a speechwriter to the Under Secretary for Benefits, and worked in the VA Home Loan Program, focusing on policy development and program implementation for Veterans' benefits. She also gained experience in federal acquisitions through the Department of Defense's Naval Acquisition Intern Program during law school.
Ms. Byrum earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Charleston Southern University, and her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. Ms. Byrum is a licensed attorney in Tennessee and a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
